East Treasure Specialty Prawn Noodle: Excellent Prawn Noodle at Joo Chiat Road
We came across this place while walking down the street looking for a place to have an early dinner. We decided to give it a go, and it was a great decision to have this kind of local food at East Treasure Speciality Prawn Noodle!
The bowls of soupy noodles and bee hoon arrived steaming hot.
The beautiful aroma of the broth hits you first and tingles your sense of smell. You then see and marvel at the delightful meaty prawns soaking comfortably in the middle of the rich, flavourful broth within the warm embrace of the noodles and bee hoon.
Starting with a spoonful of the delicious broth gets your appetite going. The prawns are sweet tasting and have a bit of a crunch to them. The generous servings of pork lard scattered across the bowl not only enhanced the flavours but give the whole dish a pleasant, crackly sensation.

“Solid!” was the word that came to mind as I took a generous bite with a spoonful of soup, mixed with some noodles, a piece of prawn and some pork lard. Before we knew it, we had cleaned out the tasty, mouthwatering bowl of wonder!
Overall, an excellent meal to end the day!
