A couple of weeks ago, a friend of mine recommended the prawn noodles at this stall called “Fully Good Food“. I must say that the stall owner must be really confident of his/her food. So I decided to check them out on a Sunday morning for breakfast.
There was already a queue at the store, situated at a Chong Boon Market/Food Centre corner. I planted myself at the end of the line and watched the line grew even longer behind me in a matter of minutes.
Despite the long queue, the line moved steadily, and soon I got to place my order for a bowl of prawn pork rib soup noodle, which I got in just a minute or so.
The bowl of delicious-smelling soup noodle looks appetising. You can see slices of prawns and chunks of pork ribs in the clear soup garnished with coriander and a copious amount of pork lard.
As usual, the first thing I do is go for a sip of the soup. It was delicious! The sweet taste of the prawns was so sharp! 😋 The prawns were not whole; they were sliced in half but definitely fresh.
The pork ribs were meaty, and there was a bite to it. Slices of lean pork were also present in the mix of ingredients. The noodles were cooked just right, with a nice tension.
As I polished the whole bowl clean, I would say that they definitely live up to their name. Their confidence well placed.
I’m going to be back for their mee rebus; hopefully, it’ll be as good an experience! 👍🏻
